Rise - A Rooftop Crawl

RISE is a unique event where attendees explore private rooftops, featuring elaborately themed parties, in the Crossroads Arts District. Attendees enjoy an incredible celebration with food, drinks, live entertainment and interactive experiences as they travel from rooftop to rooftop, ending the night with an epic block party in front of the BBBS building on Walnut Street.

Your RISE experience will include food tokens that may be used at a variety of incredible food trucks, available to attendees throughout the evening. On each rooftop, you'll also enjoy festival themed light appetizers, beer, wine and signature drinks. Guests can also expect free parking, a finale performance, and a block party.

FAQs

We recommend bringing minimal possessions as you will be on the move for most of the evening. Your phone may help you navigate the rooftops as we plan on using Twitter to let you know which rooftops are full/open as the crawl progresses.

You will be given a suggested crawl route when you register but you are open to change your route based off of rooftop availability. We will provide rooftop capacity updates via Twitter throughout the night to make your crawl as effortless as possible; follow us @BBBSKC.
Yes, crawl participants must be 21 years old or older and will be asked for ID at registration.

Free parking will be available for all attendees. Ample parking is available at the Barkley Parking Garage located at 1740 Main and the Corrigan Station Garage on the corner of 19th and Walnut. Look for BBBSKC parking signs and attendants for assistance.
We encourage RISE attendees to plan ahead and schedule transportation home, after the event.

Make sure you join us at BBBSKC for the finale performance and Block Party, with food, drink and more.
RISE will be held rain or shine, with the exception of severe/dangerous weather. Most of our rooftops have a backup area that we can move the party to, if needed. If severe weather happens during the block party, we will make a judgment call based on your safety. If we do have to cancel because of severe weather, no refunds will be given.
